13 years agoAs a computer technician I wanted to let you know there has been a lot of discussion about Windows 8 not truly being compatable with a lot of programs and applications. For some reason it's not integrating with a lot of legacy software.
This may indeed be part of your problem.
I also noticed that even with the release of Win 8 full support for Win 7 remains. This may be because 8's main modification seems to be to interact with touch screen computers.
If it is possible for you to downgrade to Win 7, this may resolve your Sims 3 issues.
