Sims 3 website cannot change avatar background!

Just giving another update. On the exchange we still can't change our avatar backgrounds with the free ones and the ones we bought on the sims 3 site. Tried to download and click try it in our my page goodies and still nothing works. I hope we can get this fixed. We haven't been able to change our backgrounds on our avatars for nearly 2 months. New people are stuck with the default white ones.
