Sims 3 website cannot change avatar background!

So I recently got the sims 3 like a month ago... I uploaded my own avatar to the sims 3 website as my profile pic, but I cannot change the avatar background so it just plain white. I know the steps...

A month later and the issue still hasn't been fixed... The website is so abandoned

I commented on this like 6 months ago lol but today I tried again and it worked. I'm genuinely surprised that they actually did anything to the website
