ASTyler97 What you're describing is a separate issue. It appears that the EA App auto-consumes codes for Store worlds, adding them to the App game library but not to the Store site. This has been a problem for a while now, maybe most of the time the EA App has supported Sims 3 at all. It has nothing to do with the functioning of the Sims 3 Store website itself.
For worlds that need to be purchased with real money, the recommendation is to buy from the EA website (you can google the world you want to buy to find the product page) and register the content on the Store site. This works fine other than the occasional Store outage. And of course you can buy certain Store worlds with SimPoints, which DO get applied to your Store account when bought through the EA App.
