Hello!
I have not been able to log into the sims 3 store for the past couple of weeks now. I am not sure when exactly it started but I know I bought Sim points and I was able to access the store and spend them on 11/03/2025.
When I go to login on a web browser it reloads the home page without logging me in. I do not get an error message saying that my login information was incorrect or that they were having any issues signing me in. I have tried logging in on my phone through the Safari browser, through Edge, FireFox, and Google Chrome.
When I go to login on the launcher it tells me that my EA account is not linked to a Sims 3 community account. I will attach a screenshot of the message. I believe that my EA account should be linked to my Sims 3 community account since my Sim points were able to be added to my account. I have had the same account since I first started playing the game which was about 10 years ago.
I have cleared my history, cleared my cookies, changed my password so that it no longer includes special characters (I thought I saw something about the store not accepting passwords with special characters), and I followed instructions from some of the other forms where they had issues logging into the launcher specifically- moving my documents folder, etc.
I reached out to support, and they said that nobody else has reached out with this issue. I have seen another forum with a similar issue where 2 other people have said that they have not been able to login to the store either. I am curious if there is anyone else having this problem? Has anyone else reached out to support and gotten an answer? I believe I should get a follow up if they find a bug that is causing this so if that happens, I will update the thread, but I am not sure what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I just want to use my changing table!

Same. How do we get some attention on this? I cannot use store content saved on my PC either. I have to re-download it most of the time. If the store goes down, I lose all of my items!

That is terrible I am so sorry. I am not sure what else to do to get more attention on this. I hope that if enough of us create or interact with the posts on this forum that it will become too big for them to ignore it. Maybe it wouldn't hurt to reach out to EA support to create more tickets? I really don't know.

They are lying to you. Many people including me have not been able to log into the sims 3 website for 1.5 weeks. I contacted support about this 1 week ago so yes they are definitely lying. They said they opened a ticket. No response since then. Looks like they just want an excuse not to fix it.

I agree , they could of fixed this within an hour if they had wanted to.

Thank you for replying. That sucks to know that they have been aware for so long. Do you also get the login loop, or do you get the 403 forbidden message?

I get the login loop. Not every account is impacted. I have an old account that I forgot the email for quite some time. Due to forgetting, I created the second account I use now with most of my store bought items. I can get into that first account, but not the second one with simpoints and many items. I tried reseting my password with the second account. It gives me a code, lets me reset, but then the login loop again. I have never had any issues until they did maintenence 1.5 weeks ago. They broke something with some accounts and they haven't bothered to fix it. I contacted support 1 week ago and had a chat with them. They said they'd open a ticket and look into it. Since it only effects some accounts it might be harder to fix, but without any updates or messages, and the lying to people that they are the only ones with an issue, I'm inclined to think its being ignored.
