Hello!
I have not been able to log into the sims 3 store for the past couple of weeks now. I am not sure when exactly it started but I know I bought Sim points and I was able to access the store and spend them on 11/03/2025.
When I go to login on a web browser it reloads the home page without logging me in. I do not get an error message saying that my login information was incorrect or that they were having any issues signing me in. I have tried logging in on my phone through the Safari browser, through Edge, FireFox, and Google Chrome.
When I go to login on the launcher it tells me that my EA account is not linked to a Sims 3 community account. I will attach a screenshot of the message. I believe that my EA account should be linked to my Sims 3 community account since my Sim points were able to be added to my account. I have had the same account since I first started playing the game which was about 10 years ago.
I have cleared my history, cleared my cookies, changed my password so that it no longer includes special characters (I thought I saw something about the store not accepting passwords with special characters), and I followed instructions from some of the other forms where they had issues logging into the launcher specifically- moving my documents folder, etc.
I reached out to support, and they said that nobody else has reached out with this issue. I have seen another forum with a similar issue where 2 other people have said that they have not been able to login to the store either. I am curious if there is anyone else having this problem? Has anyone else reached out to support and gotten an answer? I believe I should get a follow up if they find a bug that is causing this so if that happens, I will update the thread, but I am not sure what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I just want to use my changing table!
