I have started a case with EA and spoken with an advisor in regard to this issue. They have reported it as a bug and requested that I also report it here.
The issue probably started about a month ago now. I figured it would work itself out, but it never did. The issue is when I try to log into the Sims 3 exchange. It is also affecting the signing in on the launcher. It appears to be a sign-in loop, but everything I have researched online to fix the loop, but nothing is working. I am able to sign in when I have the game running. I have researched it with that as well, and everything I come across isn't working. So basically, I sign in. It acts like it is signing in, but when the home page loads, it says I'm not logged in. I click log in, the screen flashes once, almost as if it was going to load the sign-in screen, but can't. It then goes back to the home screen, showing me that I am not logged in. When I try to log in through the launcher, I get an error message. I have uploaded an attachment of the error message. I use Firefox and Edge for my browsers. I have tried everything I can think of, and nothing is working. I do have VPN on my computer, and whenever I try to sign in, I turn that off, so I know that is not the issue. I have my browser set to always clear cache, temp files, and history every time I close the browser, but just because, I manually cleared all that while trying to figure out the issue. Doesn't work. I even downgraded my Firefox browser, just for a test, and it didn't work. At the start of the issue, I had changed my password, which didn't fix it either. The EA app works fine; the game works fine. It's just the exchange website, and I am unable to log in on the launcher, so I cannot upload anything to the exchange either.
Please help bump this issue up. The advisor told me to try keeping this issue bumped.
