Sims 3 won't launch because of norton

Okay so a couple days ago, norton decided to shut down my sims game, and when I tried to re-open my sims game, the launcher wouldn't open my game. 

Then I decided to uninstall norton completely thinking it would help, but to my dismay, this caused my launcher to not even open! Even uninstalling my game and reinstalling hasn't helped. and clicking on the TS3 application doesn't work either. I've looked every where for an answer and I can't find find it. Please help me
