Did this ever get solved? This seems to be my exact issue and I still don’t know how to get the game to load!!!!!!!
@LadybugJack This is the most common reason that Sims 3 won't load past the launcher:
So if your computer has a 12th-gen or newer Intel processor, please try the suggestions in the accepted solution. Otherwise, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
