Try resttetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-3/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps/td-p/714/
You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files and make a backup.
My problem: The game TS3 was working fine after i had just bought TS3 seasons and now when i click the play button on my launcher it does go to the black screen but after 1-2 minutes, it goes back to my home screen that really pisses me off and i am really upset because i just made a sims 3 account HELP PLZ!!☻♣♠☺♥

Are you using a PC or a Mac?
I've been having the same issue and the game was working fine a few weeks ago when my daughter was playing it. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, i've tried running the game without origin and running it straight from the bin file (C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 3\Game\Bin). I've tried running it as admin and even tried using the repair option. Nothing has worked, It is really frustrating. i posted all my pc specs for my pc bellow.

I have been having this same issue, I have a very good gaming laptop and my OS is windows 10. I have always been able to play TS3 until just today after my Origins update, I have literally tried everything that I've read online. I have tried restoring my game, un-installing and re-installing my game, running as administrator, troubleshoot compatibility manually and automatically, and I have tried by passing the launcher by going through programs (X86). I have tried everything I could think of. I have NVIDEA graphics card and have the most updated drivers for it and it's not my anti-virus blocking it either ... I am really starting to hate EA! PLEASE let me know if you or if anyone else finds a solution. I just want to play my game. EA NEEDS TO DO SOMETHING! There are so many others out there that can't play it either! I will NOT be buying the sims4!
