Sims 3's installation program can't be opened on Mac

@noahandsims  Are you trying to install Sims 3 through Origin or the EA App?  As far as I've seen, the EA App doesn't even offer the 32-bit version of Sims 3, but that may have changed recently.

At any rate, even though you're seeing a different error, this is the master thread for the missing 64-bit entitlements:

You'll need to contact EA customer support and ask them to add the entitlements for the base game and any packs you own.  I would strongly recommend using live chat rather than email.  If you don't see the option, try this link:

Make sure you're signed into an EA site (this one is fine) before clicking the link and that the location in the lower-right corner of the browser window is set to U.S. or U.K.

I wanted to install it through EA app and when i saw the Sims 3 that EA sells, it tells that the game can only work with a MacOS supporting 32bits apps. I will try to contact them. Thank you for your help !
