Sims Code Stolen?

I haven't played the Sims 3 in years and its my favorite and best era of Sims. Anyway, I noticed that 2 of my expansion packs were missing from the download and I went to get my cases out and get the...

    Hey @genesisvas,

    Sorry for the frustration you're having to deal with when you're just trying to get back to some relaxation with your Sims. 

    Just to clarify, once a code is registered to an account, that same code can't be used elsewhere or stolen by a different person/account. In this case the codes appear to still be on the account where they were originally registered, which just seems to be a different account than the one you're on now.

    While you mentioned you had used a particular email that was just changed once, do you recall any other emails that may have been used in the past, even if it's an email you can no longer access? 

    Our support team would need to try and verify that other account with you before it's possible to try merging everything to your current account as mentioned above. Unfortunately we wouldn't be able to make any changes or provide other details here on the forums, so it would be best to reach back out to support with any other details you can recall so they're able to try recovering and updating this other account.

@genesisvas  Do you have access to the other account where your content was registered?  If so, you could have it merged with your current one.  This should give you back University Life, but not Monte Vista because Store content doesn't transfer properly.  This is unfortunate, but if it makes you feel any better, you could buy the Worlds Bundle for the same price as the original MV.  The bundle gives you Hidden Springs as well, so it's not a total loss.

Separately, EA sometimse puts Sims 3 content on sale for 50-60% off, which would make the Worlds Bundle and a new copy of University Life $8-10 U.S. each.  This isn't ideal either, but maybe it's worth it to have your content back.  The next sale may well be during Black Friday week.

If you do buy the Worlds Bundle at some point, please read the first post of this thread before doing anything with the confirmation email or the codes it contains.

@puzzlezaddict The issue is that I never registered with another account so there is nothing to merge. That’s why I am upset because I never had another account. 

Thank you for your suggestion, I already have the world bundles. 

Just feeling very upset about this development.

      @EA_Mako I guess I am trying to explain that my biggest issue is that I have only registered the rest of my 9 expansion packs with this single account. I have never had another account. I even have the welcome to origin email from 2015 to the email switch account from 2017. I also never even got to add Monte Vista due to me moving in 2017 and just uncovering it going through my games now. It was sealed, which makes all of this even more confusing. I also had University Life downloaded on my PC, but not my Mac. I am just very upset and have just accepted that even though I have the physical expansion packs in my hands, it is lost money.
