SIMS wont start download on my Mac

Hi,
Last night I purchased Sims 3, Starter Pack. The download to Origin is okey, but when I´m about to download it to my MacBook, it just doesn´t work! I have tried everything, start Macbook all over, delete the game and downloading again. I also have trouble finding out how to start Origin in admin-mode, I can´t find out how to do that either. I have searched in every place of settings to try find it. Can you please help me, I am so annoyed haha and I just want to play!
@00niklas2 Are you running Catalina on your Mac? If so, that's why Sims 3 won't work: it's a 32-bit app, and Catalina is 64-bit only. There's no way around this right now. But EA has announced a 64-bit-compatible version of Sims 3 for macOS, to be released sometime in early 2020. Here's the full announcement:
In the meantime, your only options to play are to use a different computer, or to install another operating system on your Mac. Since you just bought the game, you can get a refund, instead of waiting for the new version.
