Sims3 Not launching

I just got Sims three yesterday on my MacBook. It was working fine. I left my house for a few hours. Then when I came home it stopped working and it’s saying failing launch. It’s really frustrating because I spent quite a bit of money on packs and stuff and I couldn’t even play for over 24 hours.

    Tori_muffin02  Please post a screenshot of the error.

    Please also let me know whether it helps to move the Sims 3 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts.  Doing so would remove, but not delete, your saves and other user data.  The data can be restored later, but for now, please test without it.
