Sleep/Stay Over

Is there a difference between asking a Sim to sleep over or stay over?

  • As far as I know there is not a difference between the two. Of course if it's male and female adults and their relationship is good it might turn into something more than a sleepover 😉 however there is a difference between come over and sleep over. If you ask a Sim to come over, then you are just inviting them to visit your house, depending on age, they will leave at either a specific night time hour or whenever they have to be somewhere else. If you ask them to slepp over then they'll do just that. They will spend the night over at your house, go to sleep and get up and leave in the morning.

Yeah, come over is for inviting a guest to your Sim's house. They have to already be there in order to ask them to sleep or stay over. But I think sleep over shows up under friendly and stay over shows up under romantic. So does this have different implications, like where they actually sleep? Is it better to choose one over the other, depending on their relationship?
