Question is anyone still playing the sims 3

I wanted to know if the store is still open so I can purchase sims points everytime i press the buy sim points nothing happens. 

i havent been playing for 1 year because my whole accont plus emails were hacked 

i've just gotten the chance to log in and change all my creditials 

i miss playing and building as well as creating my sims
