A few things are horribly wrong in my game but to get the answers from the 1st page out of the way -
1. Are you using any Custom Content or mods ? Yes
2. If you are using mods, are you using any of the 'big ones' like Awesome Mod or Twallan’s mods - Yes, NRAAS (updated to 1.38 SPM)
3. If you're not using mod, did you never use them or did you take them out for the EP (as you are supposed to do)
4. Did you update the mods you put back with a compatible version ? Yes
5. Do you have Supernatural or just the Patch ? Both
6. Which Patch Level are you at ? 1.38
7. Did you start a new game or are you playing an existing ones ? New one that came with SN EP
8. Did you transfer an existing Sim over or are they new ? New
9. What town are you currently playing ? EA or Custom ? EA
10. What is your Operating System (Mac, XP, Vista, Win 7) Win 7
11. Do you have the download or DVD Version of the game. I have the direct download from EA Origin
Issues -
First issue (and most annoying) I can not have my witch pratice magic at all. It cancels out the interaction every single time I try. I've placed wand after wand in her/his inventory. I've made sure the purple slide bar is fully charged. The ONLY thing my game allows my Sim witch to do is conjure bad apples which wind up in their inventory sack
My daughter recently played a different hood and I was informed that a witch can not purchase anything at all from the potion store, nor can the witch interact at all with the alchemy table.
2nd Issue - And it's not all that important but the sliders in the game for the jaw is fully locked up. None of the sliders will work in that section only. I have custom sliders for the ears and nose and even the full head. They all work. Only the jaw section which im about 75% certain I do not have a custom slider in, refuses to budge.
3rd Issue - I've downloaded the spellbook here on EA. Bought it, installed it along with the Gothic looking library. I noticed that when my Sim approaches the item, they are teleported off to the side and stand there dumbfounded for a moment and walk away. I figured that this has happened in the past and I figured I would simply go into my installed content and delete it. Problem is? It's not showing up at all in my launcher content section which scares the crap out of me. I know ghost files can normally only be taken care of in one way.....and that is to fully reinstall. And I really, really do not want to do that. But if I have to, I guess I will. I'm just attempting to find a better way before I fully nuke my game.
