Supernatural Bug Thread

I have noticed something else that has changed with the patch.

with my musical sims - the perform action seems truncated - the sim will so to the instrument and the little musical note graphic will happen for 3 seconds then they will simply quit - no upskilling bar, no music.
My sim is pretty good- at least L6 on all instruments, but cannot perform. The sound while she practices (OK 'plays alone') or jams with her mates is also very intermittent.

I removed all my current mods, started a different family on an EA world (Lunar Lakes) - same thing happened, so it doesn't seem to be related to mods or a savegame issue.

Has anyone else encountered this?

1. Are you using any Custom Content or mods ? Yes, both (mostly store CC but quite a lot of it)
2. If you are using mods, are you using any of the 'big ones' like Awesome Mod or Twallan’s mods Yes - Twallans overwatch & Master controller (have to control the plague of acrobats & mimes somehow ;-))
3. If you're not using mod, did you never use them or did you take them out for the EP (as you are supposed to do) All mods out & caches cleaned before update
4. Did you update the mods you put back with a compatible version ? Yes
5. Do you have Supernatural or just the Patch ? Patch
6. Which Patch Level are you at ? 1.38
7. Did you start a new game or are you playing an existing ones ? Both existing & new - same issue in both.
8. Did you transfer an existing Sim over or are they new ? Both (Savegame and very quick random Sim - have NOT tried an EA family though)
9. What town are you currently playing ? Sunset Valley EA or Custom ? Apaloosa plains, Lunar Lakes (EA)& SimSample's Jericho
10. What is your Operating System (Mac, XP, Vista, Win 7) Win 7
11. Do you have the download or DVD Version of the game. DVD
