I let the dxdiag text.
I don't use any mod. I only have "Adventure Lands" pack. I don't use any mod. I could play when my pc has Win10. I started having this problem when I upgraded to Win11.
@Sevvalaksu Most of the errors in your dxdiag are generic Windows update issues. While these shouldn't affect Sims 3 in theory, they might tie up system resources that the game needs. So please run a couple of basic checks of your Windows system files:
- Hit Windows key-X
- Choose either “PowerShell (Administrator)” or “Windows Terminal (Administrator),” whichever option is offered
- Inside the window that appears, copy and paste “DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth” without quotes, and enter
- The system will start validating soon. If it throws an error, please list it here
- After it reaches 100%, hit Windows key-X again
- Again, choose “PowerShell (Administrator)” or “Windows Terminal (Administrator)”
- Inside the window, copy and paste “sfc /scannow” without quotes, and enter
- Post the message you receive here
Restart your computer, hit Windows key-i, select Update & Security, and click the box to check for updates. If any install, restart again afterwards.
Do you run anything else on your computer while playing? Windows 11 uses more memory than 10, and while your 8 GB installed is enough for Sims 3 and Windows, I'm wondering whether other apps are using extra memory that the game needs. So please try playing immediately after restarting your computer, with nothing else running (aside from the EA App, of course). Please also disable the EA Background Service, under Settings > Application, if it's not already disabled.
