The Sims 3 Error Code 5002
I have installed The Sims 3 today with Humble Bundle Key It appears on my account and fully installed But when I open the game, Error happens Error Code 5002 How can i fix it? Please Help

I have the same issue too after installing Sims 3 with a Humble Bundle key. The weird thing is that it worked yesterday. Then I went to bed and today I get the message: "A required security module cannot be activated. This program cannot be executed (5002)."
How can we fix this? Help is appriciated.
Delete any file of the Sims 3 installed through origin by remove the installer and the program files folder of it.
After you finished, follow these easy steps:
Re-open Origin.
Log in to your account.
Start downloading only Sims 3!
Install it, then update it.
Download all other expansion and stuff packs and install them.
Open the Sims 3 by click Play in the Sims 3 game on Origin software, The launcher will be opened.
Click on the play symbol, start playing!
Thanks but that did not work. Now my save file is probably gone too. ☹️
I found a solution to my problem.
The issue was the SecuRom + my mouse software! I have a TT Esports Black Element gaming mouse. All I had to do was to close the software to the mouse that was running in the background and it worked. God damn DRM...
