The Sims 3 Launcher can't download Custom Content

I am very aware with the current update to The Sims 3 that had the factor of you needing to uninstall your game to remove your CC if you have any that you have added the old-way for the game, but I have been having a new problem as when trying to install CC the game says it has failed, and won't install it. Is there a new way I am supposed to install CC because of the new update or is all CC rendered unavailable for the Sims 3? Or is it just my game? Is anyone else having this problem? If so can you please help me.

    It usually shows the CC name and beside it, it says I believe log has failed, or just failed to download.

    There's a log file called sims3launcherlog.log in documents\electronicarts\thesims3\

    Could you open that with an editor and see what it says ?
