@tnrud200 Does your computer run Windows or macOS? Can you login to Origin (or the EA App) properly? And what happens when you try to play Sims 3 without signing into the launcher or Main Menu?
Please also let me know if it helps to delete the file labeled [your email].bin, inside Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3 > Downloads.
- 2 years ago@puzzlezaddict Hi, I tried : delete the file labeled [your email].bin, inside Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3 > Downloads.
And nothing gonna solved.
And this is my statement:
* my laptop: mac
* I can login to both Origin and EA App with my new ID and PW.
* When I play the sims 3(on EA App), the launcher is not signed statement. So I need to try login, and not properly signed. As time goes far, still that statement(I can't see signed well. But any "your ID or PW was wrong" comment is not appear.)
*when I just play, then main menu pops up. In main menu, there is not-signed statement also. when I try to login, the message "Your ID or PW is not valid". But those are right ID and PW.
Also, I cleaned up the file labeled [my email].bin -> But I can't login properly.- puzzlezaddict2 years agoHero+
@tnrud200 Please go into Applications > Utilities, open Keychain Access, search for sims , and delete any entry with sims3 in its name. Delete the [your email].bin file again, and see whether you can login at the Main Menu.
If that doesn't work, try changing your password to something that contains only letters and numbers. The launcher and the game don't deal with special characters very well.
There is no point in signing into the launcher, so you can skip that step.
