Re: "You don't have access" error

So I'm going to start off by that this is not a new issue, in fact I created a case for this issue 2 years ago and EA just closed it without a resolution or reason.

 

The issue: EA launcher, in short that whole launcher is a giant mistake, they should've never removed origins when it actually somehow worked.

The real issue: I can download The sims 3 base game with the supernatural expansion and pets expansion. But whenever I launch the sims 3 in its launcher only supernatural shows as installed content. So the content for that is not there at all.

So, a couple of days ago I thought about this issue again, if it has been solved. I find this thread:sims 3 pets and seasons not showing in launcher | EA Forums - 11923831

It's ironic when the same issue rears its ugly head, right? Not to mention that I have done exactly the same troubleshooting steps as the person in the thread 2 years ago, and even on a entirely new pc this year.

 

The EA rep in the thread tells the person to submit a help request. Well I did this and here is the results, you are going to love this! (pics below or attachment with blurred out names).

 

What they basically said was that my account had a sanction on my pets expansion, in which very much confused me because I have never heard of anything like this, I own the game and what must've done in order to get a expansion banned?

 

They send me a link telling me to appeal the sanction on my sims 3 pets expansion. I created yet another ticket with the therms of service team. Low and behold, they get back to me today telling me "What sanctions? We don't see any restrictions on your account?"

I sit back in my chair trying to make sense of this. Thinking, how is this legal? Why was I told there was a ban on my expansion? All I wanted was them to re-add my expansion to solve a problem. Why isn't the problem solved? Why is EA outsourcing support from India? All of these questions.

 

Lastly, I was up to 1am last night to get to the support help which led nowhere.

    This is the email by the way, they tell me to create a support ticket, again... It's like... Why?! 

     

    And to the others, there might be a wording problem or two, I was tired and wanted my problem solved last night...
