The Sims 3 save file won't load and crashes on loading screen

I have a save file that I played for a long time ago. Recently, I had a new PC and transferred all my files to this one and played well for a few days. But now, when i try to load the save file, when the green bar reaches to end it shuts down without no error messages to desktop. My other saves opens without a problem.

I searched a lot for a solution. I have no .bad files, deleted some cache files, tried the backup file but no. I can't load it.

While i tried to fix it and searched up, i also found something that in deviceconfig.log, it says "texture memory: 32 override" and next to graphic card it says "Found: 0, Matched: 1" I use a onboard graphic card, Intel UHD Graphics 630. I found some tutorial on web to recognizing the card but couldn't understand well or fix it.

If they're needed for solving the problem, I can upload the log and sgr files. I really want to continue to play with that save.

Also some people says playing with onboard graphic cards is not only good for game, also could damage the system. Is it true? I play with 6 extension packs, would it be tiring for the card? I'm thinking about using our old graphic card, Nvidia Geforce 210. Would it be a better choice?

Thank you in advance

I googled this issue and the text that showed up was

What's more likely to help is trying to load the save in a clean user data folder.  Move your entire Sims 3 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop

now all my saves and mods are gone. Is there any way to get them back and what did i do wrong?

  • 15TrasigaBen  Your saves and mods should be intact in the folder you moved, so simply move those folders to the new Sims 3 folder the game has created in Documents > Electronic Arts.  Test your mods first in case something in that folder is a problem.  Saves are typically fine, or rather a save might not load, but it won't prevent you from loading other saves.  They're in the Saves folder, naturally.

Since this thread is a few years old, I'll lock it here.  If you need further help, please create your own thread describing the original issue and what happens when you restore the saves and/or mods.
