Too Many Zombies!

I just bought Sims 3 plus Supernatural two days ago, and well, everything started out great but now I have been having some trouble. First, I noticed that zombies continuiously spawned all day, everyday, no matter the moon cycle and no matter where my sim was currently located. From my home, to the grocery store, and even at my poor sim's wedding! I did some research upon the Sims site itself to no avail, then took my searching to Google. I found that this was a glitch and there was a patch to fix it. Can someone please help me control my zombie population? With a patch link or fix that I can perform? I have no other expansions, and I am simply trying to play a normal game for now in the two normal neighborhoods that I have. Meaning, I do not wish to be a witch only so I may abolish them, as someone suggested to me prior.

That's the EP Version. Follow instructions above for base game. Should be 1.xxx

  • What is your base game version right now ?

To find out, open your launcher and hover over the little base game icon in the lower left part of the launcher. It should say 1.48.

More Details can be found here: http://sims3.crinrict.com/en/2011/01/tutorial-how-to-find-your-game-version.html

Just update your game to the newest version through your launcher. Games that are affected can't be saved but any new game should be fine.

  • It says 15.0.135.018001. I hope that is right, cause when I click on game updates it says it is up to date.

  • I really appreciate your time and help. Thank you very much!

While, my game was not properly updating, I figured out that the real issue was Origin. It was not allowing my to connect, not allowing me to update, and thus not allowing my to update Sims either. I reinstalled the program, updated, and am in the process of updating my Sims game as we speak. I have not finished, and have not checked to see if this Zombie pest control is working, but I trust that this issue is solved. Again, I appreciate your response!
