When my Sims children are in an after school activity and are about to age up the have been unable to go to the award ceremonies. This has been happening for quite a while. The blue circle with the star shows up but I'm unable to click on it. I have the latest update installed.

It's a bug (started again with SN, was fixed before) that has to do with the double rabbitholes. Try replacing the school/whatever combination rabbitholes with two single ones instead.

I'm having similar issues, but the school is a single rabbit-hole; there's no double-function involved. I can select the option to go to the awards ceremony, but as soon as the action comes up in the queue, it vanishes instantly. The teen has two afterschool activities and is an orphan; the town is Hidden Springs.

Hi this is a really late answer but my sim was in the same situation but she was living alone as a teen. She has a painter career so editing the school was causing a lot of problems. Adding another sim to the household solve the situation for me. Maybe it can help
