New Bug involving the Partius Maximus statue in the LE version of the game.
Basically, it's causing some erratic behavior in Sims depending on the type of party you throw. If you are throwing a House Party, Bonfire Party, or Keg Party, everything works out as advertised. (Haven't tried Birthday Party or Funeral yet, for obvious reasons.) If you throw a Costume Party and set the statue to, say, Masquerade, Sims will keep flipping back and forth between three different outfits before settling on one and continuing to behave like they should. All my guests kept changing from their Everyday Outfit to their Costume for the party to the Masquerade outfit that the statue triggers and back again. Also, only one of my guests actually broke the statue override and was walking around the party in their Hot Dog costume instead of the Masquerade mask.
And if anyone who is also playing with this item notices the following, these ARE NOT bugs:
- Inappropriate and Party Animal traits override two randomly-selected traits when a guest or player-controlled Sim are near the statue. It is linked to the new moodlet that comes with the statue.
- The statue makes everyone in the lot change to the outfit that it is set to when it is turned on, regardless if there is a party going on or not. If there isn't a party going on, keep the statue turned off or else everyone in the house will be walking around in togas until they leave the lot.
- There is no option in the Throw Party menu for Toga Party or Masquerade Party. To get those party types, you have to pick any of the parties the game will let you allow, and then when you get the "Party will start in an hour" prompt, turn the statue On and select either the Toga or Masquerade outfit. This will force all Sims to change into those costumes once they have arrived to the lot.
