First thanks for adding the issues I already reported.
Now I think I should have waited until I got my 2 sim through their first time at Uni as I got the same issue as others reported but in differing degrees.
1) Try #1 - Sims took finals fine and recieved their report cards. One sim got the notice he had enough credits to graduate. Then got that his graduation would start tomorrow. Had him invite friends and family. About a sim hour later it said the graduation was about to start. My sim began to go to the Annex/Stadium to graduate but since he is a celebrity one of his dorm roommates wanted an autograph and that cancelled out him going to graduation. I tried to get him to go but all he could do is visit the Annex/Stadium. When he arrived I saw other students in graduation robes but he never changed before finally going inside. He never got an extra trait despite graduating with a perfect grade. When he and the other sim who would have to return to Uni for another term left they went home this time.
Once home I decided to send the other sim back to finish her degree and when I got to the Uni town screen she didn't show anywhere and I could not move her in.
2)Try #2 - I had not saved when they returned home so when I exited the game and returned it was where I had last saved, the Saturday morning after finals. Again one sim got the message his graduation was tomorrow and to invite people. He did again and a sim hour later he began to go to the Annex/Stadium for graduation. He got stopped again due to his phone ringing but this time I could click on the building and the choice to attend gradution was there. He went and his girlfriend (the other sim I sent to Uni with him) did change into her formal clothes and went inside. He took longer to change but finally he changed into the graduation robes and went inside and got his degree. He did get the extra trait this time. Other than his girlfriend no one else family or friends showed. Then they were supposed to go home but instead they went in different directions never leaving the campus and they were not controllable beyond hitting the "Go Home" button next to their avatars.
On Try #1 when they were sent home the orange moving truck showed and they both got in.
On Try #2 (Which failed) The newly graduated sim was picked up by the Limo each time he tried to leave campus, including the first time. The other sim kept getting on her bike, one she never had. Now the graduted sim is a level 10 acrobat back in Starlight Shores and the other sim is a level 6 Magician...not sure if that has anything to do with it beyond why the limo showed.
Thankfully I chose not to save until I was sure I could get them home and at least the one back to finish her degree so again when I return it will be the Saturday morning right after finals.
I am going to delete my cache files to see if that helps and will ensure there are no copies of these two sims in my uploads as I know these two I had previously sent out using simport. I am almost positive I had deleted the extra copies of them a while ago.
