2. If you are using mods, are you using any of the 'big ones' like Awesome Mod or Twallan’s mods?

Pre-ordered it through Origin.

7. Did you start a new game or are you playing an existing ones ?

DVD of Sims 3 and the expansion packs are download.
I pre-ordered this through Origin so it began downloading as soon as it was available, but when it went to install it stopped. When I go to hit it to install, it states I need to update the latest patch. When I check the Sims 3 update section it states I'm up to date with the latest patch. I thought maybe it was Origin needing to be updated, so I went ahead deleted it and downloaded the latest version, but to no avail. I've tried to get a hold of someone at EA, but no luck getting through. Can anyone offer some advice?
