Why does Sims 3 sounds like it's killing my system?

I play Skyrim, Dishonored, Tomb Raider, Sleeping Dogs, Sniper Elite 3, The Walking Dead, Dragon Age, Minecraft and a few others. All of my hardware is running fine.

But yeah I've just decided to wait until Sims 4 is released, no point risking my system for a game that I won't play again in a couple months.
