For me, the motion gaming mat breaks nearly daily. I had one of my Sims install the upgrade that causes it to break down less often. It broke the next day. Until I saw this thread, it hadn't occurred to me to pay attention to whether or not it was raining when it broke.
It sounds like it's specific objects, but those specific objects vary from player to player. Someone else in this thread mentioned their sinks break consistently. Mine - and most of the items my Sims own - break a "normal" amount of the time, but the motion gaming mat is constant.
EA Staff (Retired)Has anyone seen this issue recently? We've been having trouble reproducing, if someone could share a save file it'd be very appreciated, thanks so much!
