This only happens occasionally, but it is a nuisance.
After Exploring Space in a rocket ship, and going at Ultra Speed to get through it quickly, my sim will sometimes become invisible after they leave the rocket. This can fixed by selecting Manage Worlds.
I have no custom content, the Get to Work and Get Together expansion packs, and run the game in Windows 10 Home 64 bit.
The effect can be seen here: youtube.com/watch?v=GB_tPVbRgNc
Did you try have them take a shower ?
How long has this been going on ?

This has been happening on-and-off since I purchased the game a month ago. It's more likely to happen when multiple sims are on the lot, and I Woohoo in the rocket.
I will try to shower and take a bath.
I will also attempt to get a better video of the bug.

I'll try if I can duplicate
Do you know what graphics card you have ? Do you have any other invisibility issues ?
I run the game on an Intel HD integrated graphics card, which is a low end card.
I do not have any other invisibility issues.
Something else I should note is that the rocket has all of its upgrades.

I have this problem also. This started for me sometime in June 2016; I noticed around the time kids started disappearing when they were hunting for toys in trash cans. At that time I was on Window 8 and since then I've upgraded to Windows 10 and the problem persists. My GPU is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M. I just updated my drivers (I saw you recommend that) and I sent a Sim to space and they still came back invisible. Having my Sim shower doesn't usually help, though taking them into CAS does. Any help with this would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Jennifer

Could you post your Computer's DxDiag?
To gather a DxDiag on your computer, please follow the steps here: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/pc/how-to-gather-dxdiag-information/
You can attach the txt file to your post directly. Also are you using custom content or mods in your game ?

I'm having the same issue. Saving the game returned visibility in one session, but is not in another. I'm running macOS Sierra 10.12.2 with a 2.9 GHz Intel Core i5 processor and an Intel Iris 6100 graphics card with 1.5 GB of VRAM, both well above the minimum.
