How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.89.214.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All except journey to batuu and my wedding stories. No kits except for country kitchen or whatever it's called.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a sim repair any broken object.
What happens when the bug occurs? Sim keeps repairing for hours on end (presumably forever) until you cancel the action. The object at some point stops looking like it's broken and actually does get fixed and functions normally once you cancel the action, your sim just doesn't notice and does the repairing forever until you stop them.
What do you expect to see? Sim repairs an object and stops when it is fixed.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
Sims repair objects forever, not sure what else to say.
there's a workaround with using cheats just shift click on the object and choose repair object. Kinda takes the fun out of it but at least you don't need to replace the object and lose the upgrades you've made.
In the newest game version Sim repairs the item (automatic vacuum) and it doesn't stop. Item is never repaired and Sim is just repairing and repairing until being electrocuted. The vacuum has the upgrade to be unbreakable.
