Breakable Objects can't be repaired (endless repairing)

I'm not experiencing this but something similar; endless repairing on a fully upgraded, unbreakable toilet after a successful toilet prank. It's very specific and I'm commenting cause I wasn't sure if I should make a separate bug report.

In the rental apartment I own, there's 2 sims renting there, and as I got contacted for leakage in the shower and bathtub, the shower was instant repaired, but my sim couldn't repair the tub, he just kept doing the repair pose until I stopped it and called for a repair man, but he was also unable to repair it and just keeps doing the repair movements without succeeding. I tried to replace it, but the replacement doesn't happen, I just lose money and the tub remains broken and leaking. I can't remove it either due to its state. Please fix this bug ASAP!

Bit unsure if you can upgrade bathtubs to unbreakable or just more sturdy though so let me know which of the issues you are seeing.

I currently have an issue in my game where broken items don't get fixed even when trying to repair them. The progress cirkle progresses until complete - however my sim never stops tinkering and the item still does not work. It has happened with multible items, mainly less common ones like a mini fridge and the climbing wall from fitness stuff. I am playing on a computer with scandinavian origin.

This is happening to me with all unbreakable and self-cleaning appliances after they get gnomed. My sim is living in an apartment with the gnome lot trait, and when the evil gnomes break/ dirty the appliances they result in the endless repair and cleaning. I've experienced this both with the appliances that came with the apartment, as well as appliances in which I've added the upgrades to myself. Unfortunately, even hiring a repairperson does nothing.
