I started a new save and my sim is living in Ravenwood (left side of map). She found a broken microwave in the dumpster and started repairing it because I had her just over level 5 so I thought it'd be "safe". Only thing she would not finish repairing. Her skill kept increasing all then while and after her needs deteriorated to the point of desperation, I made her stop. It never did get fixed but her skill went up to level 8. I seem to recall seeing record of this glitch years ago but can't find it, so I'm reporting it again.

(It turned out to be a great skill hack, and it's not cheating if it's in the game, right... but...lol!)
