[ARCHIVED] Can't play chess with active Time Limited Events

So i have this issue as well. No CC at all and i found a brand new save is fine but reloading the bugged save doesn't help at all the only lot i was able to play chess without picking someone to play with is the park (edited and base lots alike) everywhere in that save gives me the "do not have permission to use this object". This save is a save were i have changed up the town and use it as a starting point so i don't have to edit the whole town every time i start a new game. The "start" save is fine, but the "save as" save i made for this new game off the Start save is the only one doing this. I tested a fresh save, the original Start save, and an old save that did not start from the Start save. every test was fine i could play chess at any lot but this one particular save has all the chess tables locked out. I even used the same sim in the testing so its not an issue with the sim or traits or anything.I am lucky i found this out after only 3 sim days but others who have an older save or find out later in their game could be irritated/upset they have to scrap that bugged save. I hope this helps I would submit the save file in question but I'm not sure how as the file upload says "unsupported extension type" i trying to upload the newest save from "C:\Users\me\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\saves" so if that isn't the right place then let me know were the bugged save file would be located.

I just started having this issue after the 10/22 update; my sim "does not have permission to use" chess tables on community lots, celebration centers, or unplayed sim households. Brand new save, no mods/CC. I do have the Grim event quest, and I have Discovery Quests disabled.
