Chess tables are unusable in the library - noticeable in Willow Creek library.
When trying to use the chess tables (any style of chess table) my sim "does not have permission to use the chess table".
I have replaced them and the same thing happens - yet chess table is a requirement of the Library plot type!

This just happened to me too. No mods, I was doing the event.
I just noticed this too. I googled about it and saw that it happened during the Grim event as well but I never noticed it then. I wonder what it is about the events that causes the chess tables at the library to stop working?
It happend to me too! I saw that it was also a bug during the Grimm event. I hope they fix it soon!
I had this happen as well. Had to just send my sim home and buy a chess set for her to use instead.
No mods, trying to do the event, no dice on the chess table at Willow Creek Library
me too. ever since i picked the game back up. it's doing it during discovery quests, and the weekly quest thing, and also i'm pretty sure the scenario things too.
Even without events, I can't seem to use chess tables at Willow Creek Library. I get the exact same pop up with that
Having this issue as well. Also really missing the "Me too" button from the old forums because we could see how many other players were having the same issues (wonder why they got rid of it).
