[ARCHIVED] [CD] [HR] Horses/Pet receiving phone call

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:Mac
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
What is your current game version number? 1.79.92.1230
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Seasons, Cats and Dogs, Eco Lifestyle, Get Famous, City Living, Cottage Living, Discover University, Realm of Magic, Parenthood, Tiny Living, Moschino, Holiday Celebration, Bust the Dust
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? [not quite sure what triggered it] Have a cat in your household and wait for a thunderstorm.
What happens when the bug occurs? My cat got the icon over their head that means they were receiving a call. For obvious reasons I could not answer the call, and it stopped ringing eventually. I had been playing with the household for several hours prior to this, and it happened the second a thunderstorm started. Not sure if that has anything to do with it though.
What do you expect to see? No animals should be receiving phone calls.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. Spa Day Refresh patch.

    Pets get phone calls like sims. Not game breaking but very annoying because you can't answer them.

    Hi everyone! I just loaded my game for the first time since the update (2nd August 2022). Shortly after, when the night ended, the welcome wagon arrived (even though the family is in the neighbourhood for some time already), and during their visit, the dog got a phone call! (I've got no idea if the two events are related, so I'm mentioning both.) I was unable to accept the call, so it just ended on it's own after a while, but it still weirded me out. Did someone else's dog/cat get a phone call?

    @Majda428 Had this happen to 2 cats and noticed they also had a blue moodlet so if I had to guess... I'd say happens because a sim/pet close to the pet died. The call with them to notify them, and the blue moodlet because they're sad at the news.They both had an unknown father sooo... good chance they died seeing how old their mother would have been.

    Yes, all of my 5 animals got a phonecall, it happened twice so far. The funny thing is, when this happens, all of them get all sad and their icons are blue. As if they just received some sad news! :O

    That's what I thought as well initially, someone died... but how many times, since there's nobody really close to them other than the family and the mother is living with them too, also there's no notification about a death
