I did some testing on the stuck objects issue (both festival and other random stuff) and it looks like the bugged items are stored in your sims 4 game files Program Files\EA Games\The Sims 4\EP03\ folder.
I had a backup from BEFORE these issues started happening on mass to people & overriding the EP03 Folder with this backup fixed the issue, however this is just fix, it will start to happen again, however this could be useful to EA/Maxis & to players once the issue is fixed. Your Saves, Sims and Lots within San Myshuno won't be affected, I assume this fix will also work with other worlds, however I have not tested this.
If there is demand I can upload a fixed version of EP03 folder to google drive?
So is it safe to travel to these places? Or is it an issue when you have an active household living in these places and then travel around?
I don't have any saved households in these places but everytime I see the notification that a festival has started or a sim asks my sim to go with them there I'm like "err no thank you" but I'm not sure if just travelling there will mess up my save?
There is now a mod that deals with the bikes which will get multiplied when playing in dorms, residential rentals and so on.
