[ARCHIVED] [GF] Premade sims don't have any fame level

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:Mac
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.107.151.1220
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? EPs: Get To Work, Get Together, City Living, Get Famous, Discover University, Eco Lifestyle. GPs: Outdoor Retreat, Spa Day, Dine Out, Vampires, Strangerville, Realm Of Magic. SPs: Perfect Patio, Cool Kitchen, Romantic Garden, Backyard, Vintage Glamour, Laundry Day, My First Pet, Moschino, Tiny Living, Paranormal
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 1) Create a new save file 2) Check the sims' that live in Del Sol Valley, like Judith Ward or Vanessa fame level
What happens when the bug occurs? Those sims are unknown even though they're supposed to have a fame level by default
What do you expect to see? Those sims should have a fame level as they're supposed to
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. It occured after some patch, likely after the For Rent patch, but I'm not sure

I've not seen anyone else report this bug. Tell me if you're experiencing this too

    @paulius0937 I tested this and had no issues.

    To be sure, you removed your mods before you started the new save as well as delete the localthumbcache file ?

    Is this when you play the family or just when you see them on the streets

    Yes, mods were disabled right before creating the new save file. Just deleted the mentioned cash file, did not help

    Both when playing and just coming across them. When you hover over them, it does not show any fame level and when you switch to their household, their fame level is "staying out of spotlight"

    @paulius0937 Weird. I tried both. Loaded Judith and she was a global superstar, then went to one of the community lots and checked out some other premades and all was fine on them too.

    Not sure what else you can try so guess it's up to EA to figure out or maybe others can chime in that also have the issue.

    Ok so I did some tinkering and created another save file and toggled off "sims begin opted out of fame" option when in CAS. Pre-made GF townies than had their fame levels. It looks as if this issue is only present when you start a save with that option on. I would still consider it a bug because I would still like some townies to be famous despite my own sims beginning opted out of fame.

    @paulius0937 Do you know if this was different before or if it changed with a patch ? It's possible that one of the patches that fixed the fame issues changed this.

    I don't know, did not notice. All I can say that I noticed this issue around the "For Rent" patch

    Hi! I have a problem with the EA-made celebrities in my game (e.g. Thorne Bailey, Judith Ward etc.). The sims that should have a high fame level still have the Fame Shine, but in all other ways they do not appear to have a fame level. My sims can interact with them regardless of fame level (ie. a sim without fame level can for example interact directly with Judith Ward) rather than having to go through the phase of attempting introductions and so forth.

    I have removed all mods from my game, repaired the game and then tried using new save files yet this does not change. I haven't played with the fame system for quite a while so I am unsure when it 'broke' for me exactly.
