Hello,
I moved my sim family to a new home. The cow from previous home went to build inventory. It is stuck there.
Here are some solutions I attempted:
- “Reset object (debug) the new shed
- ”debug - create cow”
- assign a new cow….. it got stuck in build inventory too, until it ran away.
- Assigning the old cow to the new shed . It grayed it out, and I did not get an option to “call out” the cow
help!!!!! ☹️
Have been having this same issue for a week now.
I read that this "Bug" was fixed with a recent patch but, i guess it was not.
Animals stuck in inventory, they wont come out of it and they're impossible to just drag them out.
Tried getting more than one new shed, even bought more animals...😞
Moved the shade to a more open area, nothing.
How are we supposed to get this fixed? The game is not pleasant this way...c'mon!!

I just closed the game because of this bug. I decided to go to the fair, EA promised to fix the bug, but a new one came. There were no milk notifications, but my cow came in second place and ended up in the Sim's inventory. I, just like the rest of the players, couldn't put the cow in the shed. I was able to sell it through inventory. I also noticed that during the fair, I hid the NPC in the relationship panel. I wanted to leave only the villagers and animals. It was then that I realized that a double of my cow appeared in the relationship panel. The same name, the same friendship, etc...
These are the thoughts of a paranoid person. But I think EA failed to fix the bug when the livestock disappeared after the fair. It feels like when a Sim comes to the fair, their livestock is duplicated. As before, it disappears, but a duplicate remains in the inventory. Perhaps this is why we cannot drive livestock into a shed. The duplicate is not my Sim's property, so I cannot dispose of it
