After putting my cow into my sims inventory to take them to the Finchwick Cow Fair 🐄 i then cannot return them to the animal shed when I get home. Have tried dragging and dropping them, clicking on the shed to assign them back in, deleting that shed and getting a new one. Buying a new cow and then selling them and then trying to assign my old cow. Nothing I do works. This is the third cow that has now gotten stuck in my inventory.

Same issue! First time I've picked the game up in a while too. Plus animals still dying!
I too am having the same issue, Grim Keeps coming to reap my chickens and cows. I purchased a replacement cow and it shows in Household inventory but is grayed out. I have the latest update for the game and no I do not use any mods.
Add me to the list. I have both a cow and llama stuck in my household inventory.
