- 5 years ago@Lilac1606 Worse, they don't even have to be your Sim's friend in order for it to happen. Even if a Sim of mine barely knows another Sim, even if they just said hi to them one time, they are bound to start getting constant phone calls from that Sim.

This issue is getting worse I think. My Sims phones never stop ringing. I usually put them on silent. I wasn't sure if it was a feature or a tech issue.
It's for visiting and meeting up but as a Sims reputation increases it's job offers too, constantly. But some are random and not appropriate for the Sims personality or relationships. They get messages saying they are notoriously bad (despite a good or neutral rep) and offering them a criminal job for example. They get family and friends wanting to fix them up even if married.
It's worse for famous sims, even with quirks removed. Constant messages for invitations and job offers on top of all the other calls is a bit much. Also my other previously played Sims who are good, send them offensive texts as part of the celebrity quirks including family members.
It was supposed to be fixed months ago and it was for a while, particular the time of day for the calls but now it's up to about midnight. I mind more because it slows gameplay.

Yeah, in one of my saves my Sims have befriended Caleb, and he shows up constantly at the door at all hours, calls constantly to invite us to hang out at his place (the second he leaves), etc.
In another save, my Sim is romantically involved with Simeon Silversweater, and he hangs out, calls on the phone from the living room to ask her on a date, calls her at work to ask her to hang out, etc. We like having him around because, you know, romantically involved, but "I have to get going, thanks for hanging out with me, bye," followed by an immediate "Hi it's me Simeon do you want to go on a date?"
It's always been that way and <snark>I get that Sims 4 is apparently conceptualized as a YA hanging out with friends and going to bars and dance clubs simulator</snark>, but the first save is full of family fuddy-duddies who have work and school in the morning, homework to do, etc., and the second save is a single Mom witch (so again with school night, homework, etc.).

I completely agree. I meet one person at the welcome party, and then they call every single day. Is there a way to stop these phone calls/texts
