Please use this thread going forward: Discovery Quests won't go away/Constant Messages popping up | EA Forums - 5018905
I uninstalled and reinstalled the game and all game packs. This has allowed me to play in new saves without this problem occurring. However, the save that I had been playing the event with as well as other saves I started during the event continue to have this issue. I always have the discovery quests disabled.
I miss my Sim!
@Rillbot I really hope this doesn’t become one of those scenarios of where we just have to start a new save file regardless and then end up losing all of the hard work that I stayed up for hours for,,, so many sleepless nights.
I don’t remember exactly what happened last time to my save, but I had to start all over from my last generation of a family and I really don’t wanna do that again ;-;
OK, I have an update so I’m currently playing right now and I went in my settings and redid the un clicking For the discovery request and they went away for a little while like at least a good three minutes, but they came back.
So that is a good start to something, but I deleted them as well from my screen and they actually went away again and haven’t popped up (yet)
I just feel like I should say at least a little bit of something because there’s progress
