That is exactly what is happening to me. Its not so much clutter on shelves or anything it's just they don't wash them at all. They just leave them back on the table. I always feel like they needed to be cleaned before I'd leave the lot so I'd make my sim pile them up and then manually delete the stack in build/buy mode.

    Hi @crinrict unfortunately I don't have that save file anymore. I have played with other restaurants I've built and I haven't ran into the same problem again. I think the suggestions given to me in the thread seemed to have done the trick. Thank you so much for all the help.
