Hello Everyone, I've just finished building a restaurant, with all that it requires and I didn't build it to run it but just for my sims to go and eat (duh 😂😂😂) assuming it would populate itself...

@liseylooloo That def looks like the same as the placemat/drawing error (I merged your thread with the bug report)

Could be possible that other things can cause it. Can you empty all tables from everything you got on them and see if the error persists ?

@crinrict if I go into build mode and bring up the cheat console, then type 'objects.clear_minor' it clears everything from the tables. Unfortunately it clears the lights too. I then go back into live and I can then click on my sim and the affected lot will load. It's just a pain to do it every time - puts me off going to restaurant lots. Until I do that , my sim is in 'limbo' so to speak as the game says my sim is at the restaurant but the restaurant won't load. Really annoying . Thanks for your help 😊

    @liseylooloo It could be a specific item that's causing it so manually delete stuff might be better to find out what it is.

    @crinrict I went into the lot in build mode, after it didn't load, and there were dirty plates, glasses etc everywhere and plates of uneaten food plus 1 lowly placemat. I deleted the placemat, went back into live and the lot loaded no issues. So it seems the placemats are defo the issue and it looks like the restaurants are a no go until it gets a solution.
    It's just another massive bug that us players just have to put up with 😔

    There's a mod on ModTheSims that atuo deletes placemats for you, try downloading that and see if it helps. You could also try CarlsSims Dine Out Reloaded mod and see if that makes it more functional

    @KatJustice97 yeah I've got that mod in my game and it doesn't seem to make any difference? but i'll give Carl's reloaded mod a try- it certainly can't make it any worse!!

    @crinrict yes any restaurant I try to visit ends up with the lot refusing to load 🤷‍♀️

    @liseylooloo Have you tested a new save at any point to see if it occurs in restaurants you place there as well ? Try to place some of the standard Maxis ones.
