Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? most recent version
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? I have all expansions, every game pack except outdoor retreat, wedding stories, and batuu, I have crystal creations, Tiny living stuff, backyard, laundry day, my first pet, romantic garden, paranomal and nifty knitting stuff pack, I also have the modern luxe, grunge revival, basement treasures, blooming rooms, little campers, moonlight chic and the incheon arrivals kit.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Placing a restaurant lot and having a sim travel there from the map screen
What happens when the bug occurs? I get an error code "123:20ece5dd:23121b4b" Sometimes the lot will load but it gives these really weird visual glitches. I have screenshots as well. It happens in all of my saves
What do you expect to see? When I try to have a sim visit a restaurant lot I either get and error code or if the lot does load it gives a strange visual glitch
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
I've been creating a save file and just started my builds, I went to change a lot into a restaurant lot type and noticed that my uniforms were not saving, concerned, I looked it up on google and a lot of people said to just have the sim visit the lot and then change the uniforms form there. The problem came about when I tried to have my sim visit the lot. I get the error code 123:20ece5dd:23121b4b. At first I thought it was a mod (I don't build with cc, I only use mods like TOOL, better build buy mccc etc) so I completely removed my mods folder in hopes that it was just a faulty mod. It was not. Even with the mods folder removed the lot type still produces the same error code. I can still visit the lot in the manage worlds section with no issues, but my sim cannot actually visit the lot without the error code. I went into build mode to change the lot type back into a residential which got rid of the error code and my sim could visit the lot again, but when I had the sim visit the lot (that I had changed into a residential lot) and changed the lot type back into a restaurant I got these weird visual glitches when reloading the lot (see screenshots below) I've tried destroying the lot and replacing, didn't work. I tried a different restaurant from what I built (found one on the gallery) and it produced the same glitches and error codes. I repaired the game (didn't work) and then I tried it in a different save file which also didn't work. The restaurant in the new save file still produced visual glitches. This only happens with the restaurant lot type. If needed I can also provide the link to my save file and the last exception that appeared in my sims folder
I'm having the exact same issue! ☹️

I am having the same issue. It appears to affect restaurants, but not other venues. When I try to visit a restaurant lot, I get an error message: 123:20ece5dd:23121b4b. In one case, I was able to visit the venue and delete a placemat drawing and was able to travel to the venue again. But I'm not able to find placemat drawings in one of the venues where I am having this issue. I have gone so far as to delete all the art off the walls in the hopes that one of the paintings might be causing the issue. I am still unable to visit the lot and receive the same error message when I try to visit.
Edited to add: I should be clear that this is happening when trying to have my Sims visit a restaurant lot that they do not own. When I change the lot to a cafe, I am able to visit it without an issue.
Edited to add: I just had the same issue while trying to load a bubble tea/thrift store. There were no placemats in the venue when I went into build mode to try and fix it.
