I have a mod that prevents my Sims from constantly going to the sink, but I can't find one that stops them from grabbing drinks from the fridge. They always seem to want a drink from the fridge.

exactly. they used to like both the sink and the fridge about the same. it now seems like the sink obsession has merged with the fridge's.
