[ARCHIVED] Firefighters don't do anything

How often does the bug occur? Every time I call the FD.
What is your current game version number? 1.110.311.1020.DX11
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Everything except; Lovestruck, Werewolves, My Wedding Stories, Realm of Magic, Cool Kitchen, Crystal Creations, Paranormal, Kids Room, Spooky, Perfect PAtio & Luxury Party
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? When something catches on fire, Call the FD.
What happens when the bug occurs? My rug catches fire, I call the FF and they arrive...It took ages before they decided to enter the house, When they arrived at the fire and they just stood there. They complained about the room being dirty since the rug that originally caught fire was now a pile of dust, but the rest of the living room was now on fire. And they still stand there not doing a thing. Then all of a sudden they remember their purpose and start extinguishing fire...They killed one fire each and return to just standing there while the rest of the living room was on fire...iI took 3-4 in game hours for them to put out all of the fires. But I had to get my own sims to put out fires or everything in the room would have been destroyed. Why are the fire fighters in this game so pointless? 

On a different occasion, I experienced this bug, this was a while back, but on that instance I didn't have playable sims to put out the fire. I had a visiting sim use the dryer, and it caught on fire. I had a fire alarm in the laundry room and it sounded as is was suppose to. The sim caught on fire and was burning to death. The fire fighters arrived on the scene but waited outside and never once entered the house to put out the burning sim. All my playable sims were at work and school so I could not use them to extinguish the burning sim. This bug killed a sim in my game and I had no way to stop it. The firefighters were there, but never attempted to put out the fire or even enter the home. The fire went out on it's own with the FF's still on the lot. 
What do you expect to see? When I call the FD, they actuaslly put out the fire and not stand around doing nothing.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes, but this bug happens even when I have mods off.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No.
