[ARCHIVED] [FR] Every tenant event successfully resolved is instead a failure

I’ve just completed and fixed a water leak event and it says ‘it sorted it out itself’ and the one before said I hadn’t done it all!

I am having the same issue!

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have 1 tenant renting a bedroom and ensuite bathroom in my property. My property has 3 units: 1 tenant, home unit, under construction unit. I get a maintenance event and travel to the tenant unit and fix the problem IMMEDIATELY without even approaching the time limit.
What happens when the bug occurs? After I fix the problem, I get a notification saying that I didn't do anything and as a result my rating went down, or it will say that the tenant fixed it on their own and as a result the rating went up, but it never acknowledges my input for fixing the issue.
What do you expect to see? The system generates a notification that I have resolved the issue in a timely manner and I get some sort of something. I honestly don't know what to expect because it has never worked properly so I've never experienced it.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. I bought For Rent and updated my game after a long period of not playing.

This is really frustrating me! I spent all this time creating a really fun property as though someone bought an old farmhouse and turned it into a rental property with mostly shared spaces and 3 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms for tenants to occupy. At first it wouldn't even work and I had to mess around selling and moving out and buying it again and moving back in etc., which seems to have somehow fixed the basic functionality (was able to get a tenant). But now it seems like the events that are happening never go like I expect them to.

The first time, there was a leak. I went into my property portal thing and clicked travel to property (so strange because I literally live there in a different unit but ok), and I fixed the sink, which was not working. It did NOT resolve the 'fix the sink' or whatever "0/1" action I was supposed to take, so I started running a maintenance check...? to try to get it to see that I fixed it. While I was doing that, the tenant finished mopping all the puddles, which was another action I had to do for the event. The system said that the tenant fixed the problem on their own even though I never showed up and so my rating went up despite me being totally useless (lol of course it said something else but I'm just saying the system clearly didn't register that I was there fixing things). All this was done IMMEDIATELY and the time did NOT run out or anything like that.

The second time, there was an electrical failure. I went into my property portal thing and clicked travel to property, and I fixed the TV. My tenant was not even present on premises this time. I got the attached image notification (you can see in the previous notification I had just gotten some parts from having fixed the TV) saying that I never fixed the problem and as a result my rating went down. ...?

I'm at a total loss with this. I've been playing this expansion obsessively for a couple days as I was really excited to get back into the game, and it has been so buggy i feel like I'm not even experiencing the game. What on earth is going on??

I downloaded the for rent expansion last night and am a landlord. I have gotten 2 calls, one about a haunting and one about a bug infestation. I have gone and taken care of the problems immediately with plenty of time to spare but as soon as I take care of it I get told I didn’t do anything in time and my rating is decreasing and my sim ends up stressed from failing to address tenant problem.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Whenever you go fix an item at a rental it says you did not complete it in time and gives a negative rating, even though I went there immediately and fixed it.
What happens when the bug occurs? Whenever you go fix an incident at a rental it says you did not complete it in time and gives a negative rating, even though you went there immediately and fixed it. All my 5 stars are negative and I can’t get them up even though I am repairing items in a timely fashion
What do you expect to see? If a fix a item at a rental it should say that I completed it and increase my rating

When I fix an item in for rent it still gives a negative rating and says I did not fix in a timely fashion. 

'Nothing was done to address the _____ problem' notification. The latest issue is bugs. I saved before attempting anything and  stomped them or paid to get rid of them both resulted in this notification. This has happened for every event as a landlord so far, resulting in unit ratings going down each time. 

I am playing with mods but I have turned them off to test and I get the same result.

I am having this same issue!! I keep completing the events and it just says “the tenants fixed it themselves and your rating when down” and along those lines. It is sooo frustrating.
