@ehlohehlee As a workaround, try setting the the lot back to residential than back to rental residential.

I discovered last night that if you switch every unit back to 'shared' then assign the units to your space again, the correct rents now display instead of the 4 million + rent that's first displayed. It's a temporary solution but i found it worked ok for me.

It's January 2024 and this is still a problem. Im having this same issue and I have no clue as to what to do

The lot itself is fixed. I did figure that out on my own on day one, but the household that was living in the unit is stuck with the 21B rent still, so they're unplayable until a workaround for that comes up.

I have this issue, but it won't let me toggle to just residential.

Should I set it to residential, move someone in and then set it back to rental?

I have the same problem, already tried doing the evict household (because I couldn’t move out with the bills ) then changed the lot from rental residential to residential and back again as rental unit , still charged huge amount of bills (4,889,000,000) and now I can’t even live in another house because all the light and water is shutted down. My sin legacy is now officially corrupted 🥲 don’t know how to fix it
- wensimmie12 months agoSeasoned Rookie@crinrict I just bought For Rent. I’m building a cheap/starter rental units. In the same building, some the units are $1 and some are 4billion. Has there been a fix for this? Thanks

Guess I'll work on other non-For Rent builds while they figure out what to do about it...

I don't think I've had this glitch before but after the most recent update, I built apartments on a penthouse lot in San Muyshuno. 5 of 6 units have the rents listed as over 4 million simoleons. Only one is a normal rent amount.
ETA: I saved, quit and when I entered the game again, the rents were all normal amounts.
